Client Registration
A client refers to a company or institution that has an account with Harmoney. A client can have multiple users associated with itself, and these users can have various roles. Users and roles are covered in later sections.
Account Creation
A client account is typically created and configured by the Harmoney team. Typical client configuration includes:
- Company Name and Brand Name
- Client Segment - institutional or non-institutional
- Broker(Y/N): Designation of whether the client operates as a broker
- Domain - this will automatically map any users whose email ID belongs to this domain
- Exchange codes
- RFQ and Straight-Through Processing (STP) enabled for exchanges
- IP restrictions - to allow access to Harmoney from specific IP addresses
A client can also be created when the first user from the company signs up on Harmoney. This user does not get admin rights, they have to raise a support request to become the admin of the company. When a client is created from user sign-up, only the Company Name and Domain are set automatically.
Client Administration
Only admins can change the client configuration. The client configuration can be updated in the following ways:
- Email our support team at [email protected]
- Raise request via support portal on the dashboard
- Admin portal (For RFQ, STP enablement and to manage users)
